Emera (Butch) Bailey is a master cabinet maker, specializing in wooden children's toys and furniture.

Butch is a retired United States Navy Captain who studied woods, stains and refinishing techniques at the Smithsonian, in Washington D.C.

Butch received a degree in Marine Engineering and Electrical Engineering and had always loved working with wood.

He started woodworking building model airplanes and other children's toys. Since then, Butch expanded his work to include furniture.

Butch created most of the furniture that he lives with, and many a house in Blairstown owns at least one of his works.
