Kathy Riss is a photographer whose artwork consists of color prints, gallery-wrapped canvas photos, and photo cards.  The inspiration for her work is the beauty of the outdoors, and people at leisure and work.  This interest is reflected in her photographs of woodlands, animals, and people and places within and beyond her hometown of Blairstown. 

“One of my joys in photography is slowing down and seeing things that I might not normally notice - ordinary, beautiful, or unusual images that are like gifts when I view them for the first time.  There is a joy also in the finished print and when others find meaning, interest, or beauty in the photographs.”, says Kathy.
