Gallery 23, Inc.
Roberto Céspedes. I was born in Costa Rica. As a child I liked to draw and paint. I built on my skills at a technical and art high school,(Colegio Tecnico Artesanal Fco J Orlich) and at various companies and galleries, in Costa Rica. A famous company I worked for in Costa Rica was Fabrica de Carretas Joaquin chaverry (ox-cart factory Joaquin Chaverry). While there I learned how to paint colorful designs such as orchids, animals and birds ox-carts. I come from an artistic family including an aunt and uncle that are very famous painters in Costa Rica, and a father who is a singer. In 1996 I moved to the United States where I continue painting in oils and acrylics. My paintings include seascapes, country landscapes, old barns and old mills and wildlife.
My beautiful and vibrant paintings 18 x 24 inch paintings can be purchased at gallery 23.
